Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
London borough · London
Freeholder status
Still manages its own housing/leasehold service directly
RBKC's housing was managed by the Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) from 1996, including major capital works from 2002; KCTMO managed Grenfell Tower and was dissolved in 2018 following the Grenfell Tower fire, with the council taking direct in-house control of housing management from that point - RBKC itself remains the freeholder throughout and holds the housing stock today
