Unitary authority · East Midlands

Freeholder status

Still manages its own housing/leasehold service directly

A 2021 unitary merger of the former Corby, Kettering, East Northamptonshire and Wellingborough councils. Corby and Kettering retained their own housing stock while East Northamptonshire's and Wellingborough's stock was already housing-association owned before the merger; council housing services today are delivered largely across the former Corby and Kettering areas, with North Northamptonshire Council itself as freeholder for that stock
