Housing stock transferred - see below for who now acts as landlord

Cheshire East has no council housing stock of its own - the predecessor district councils (Congleton, Crewe and Nantwich, Macclesfield) each transferred their stock separately before Cheshire East was created in 2009, split mainly between Cheshire Peaks and Plains Housing Trust, Wulvern Housing (now merged with the Guinness Partnership), and Plus Dane Housing - no single successor landlord for the whole borough

Leaseholder / major-works contact

Verified 24 August 2026. Councils restructure their websites and contact routes from time to time - if this looks wrong or out of date, please let us know.
