Vale of White Horse District Council transferred its housing stock to the newly-formed Vale Housing Association in February 1995 under a large-scale voluntary transfer; Vale Housing Association merged into Sovereign Housing Association in 2007, and following Sovereign's 2023 merger with Network Homes it is now part of Sovereign Network Group (SNG) - the council itself holds no housing stock
