The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead transferred its housing stock to the newly-formed Housing Solutions housing association in 1995 under a large-scale voluntary transfer; Housing Solutions (in which the council still holds an 80% stake) is now the actual landlord for leasehold flats sold under Right to Buy across the borough
