Housing stock transferred - see below for who now acts as landlord
Buckinghamshire Council (formed in 2020 from Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe district councils) owns no housing stock itself - each legacy district transferred its own stock to a housing association before the merger: Chiltern District Council transferred in 1988 (the first council in the country to do so), South Bucks District Council transferred to Chiltern and South Bucks Housing Association, Aylesbury Vale District Council transferred to the Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust (now Fairhive) in 2006, and Wycombe District Council transferred to Red Kite Community Housing in 2011 - so a leaseholder's actual landlord today depends on which former district their flat is in
