Bracknell Forest Council transferred its housing stock to Bracknell Forest Homes in 2008, which rebranded as Silva Homes in 2018; Silva Homes then merged into the Abri housing association group in October 2023, so Abri is now the actual landlord for around 10,000 former council homes in the borough, including leasehold flats sold under Right to Buy
